The Federation of Mass Farmers Markets (MFM), 240 Beaver Street, Waltham [781.893.3222], manages three farmers markets in greater Boston: the Copley Square market in Boston’s Back Bay, a market in Somerville’s Davis Square neighborhood and a market in Cambridge’s Central Square neighborhood. MFM also provides support services to all Massachusetts farmers markets and the communities that house them, and in the last five years, MFM has helped over 50 communities begin new farmers markets.

The Farmers Market Coalition maintains a Resource Library for farmers, managers of farmers market, market researchers, and organizations which sponsor or are looking to start farmers markets. The Coalition’s database of resources “were developed by a wide spectrum of organizations, agencies and academic institutions” and it recognizes “the spirit of sharing” which allows it to make the resources available in one searchable portal.
