The Minnesota Grown program of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture maintains listings of nearly 150 farmers markets throughout the state of Minnesota.

The Minnesota Farmers’ Market Association, with over seventy Minnesota farmers markets as members, offers services and programs to support and promote Minnesota farmers markets. The Association monitors rules and laws affecting food processing, product labeling, and local merchant ordinances. It also offers workshops and conferences on promoting farmers markets and improving operations and has published a Farmers’ Market Manual for Minnesota, A Guide for Management and Vendors, which can be downloaded at its website, www.mfma.org.
The Farmers Market Coalition maintains a Resource Library for farmers, managers of farmers market, market researchers, and organizations which sponsor or are looking to start farmers markets. The Coalition’s database of resources “were developed by a wide spectrum of organizations, agencies and academic institutions” and it recognizes “the spirit of sharing” which allows it to make the resources available in one searchable portal.
