This coming Saturday’s 2014 Farm Aid concert in Raleigh, North Carolina has sold out. All 21,000 seats, including lawn tickets, at the Walnut Creek Amphitheater have been claimed. If you were unable to obtain tickets or a trip to the Tar Hill state was not a possibility, this inspirational day of music and praise for the American family farm will be available as a live webcast.
The concert can be viewed at farmaid.org beginning at 7:00PM (ET). And at 7:00PM (ET), AXS TV will also be broadcasting the concert in HD. Live performances of Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews–Tim Reynolds duo will be broadcast as well as performances from earlier in the day by other Farm Aid 2014 artists, including Jack White and Gary Clark Jr. Other featured artists are the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Jamey Johnson, Delta Rae, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Carlene Carter, Todd Snider, Insects vs Robots, Raelyn Nelson Band and Jesse Lenat.
Farm Aid has raised more than $45 million to strengthen the family farm system of agriculture and keep farm families on their land since its beginnings nearly 30 years ago. The performers, who all donate their time to the longest running benefit concert series in America, deserve special praise.
