The Florida Association of Community Farmers Markets [https://sites.google.com/a/facfm.org/facfm/] is a membership organization whose purpose is “to raise awareness of how supporting locally grown food enterprises benefits health, community and the environment.  It seeks to preserve access to affordable, locally grown food for all Florida consumers and to educate consumers about the culture and history of Florida’s local family farms.

The Farmers Market Coalition maintains a Resource Library for farmers, managers of farmers market, market researchers, and organizations which sponsor or are looking to start farmers markets.  The Coalition’s database of resources “were developed by a wide spectrum of organizations, agencies and academic institutions” and it recognizes “the spirit of sharing” which allows it to make the resources available in one searchable portal.
